Application Note

        · The MSK-800W ultrasonic welder can't be used in Ar gas condition because electric arc occurs during the process. Use N2 gas if needed.

        · Nickel and Aluminum Tabs can be welded onto different types current collecting substrates (Aluminum or Copper) when making battery electrodes. 

         · A modified version MSK-800W-AR can be safely used in Ar gas condition. A KF-40 feedthrough is provided which separates the control unit from the glovebox (only welding unit is inside the glovebox) and delivers the operating gas from the gas cylinder (or air compressor) outside the glovebox to the welding unit inside the glove box. Please contact usfor quote of MSK-800W-AR in advance if Ar gas operating atmosphere will be considered.
